Malta in the European Union

Several factors condition Malta’s role within the European Union: its small size, its location at the periphery of the Union, its small cohort of 29,000 public servants and a highly partisan duopolistic political system.

In the book 'Malta in the European Union', Dr. Mark Harwood seeks to analyse the impact of EU membership on Malta’s domestic political system and its public administration.

My review of this book has been published in the August 2017 issue of the Political Studies Review. The Journal is published by the Political Studies Association.
