Much has been made over a recent re-tweet by Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna. Some of his harshest critics went as far as circulating a petition for his removal.
In my monthly piece (in Maltese) for tomorrow's Il-Lehen (22.IV.2018) I argue that, contrary to what many critics say, the Archbishop has a duty to speak on matters affecting society since his role is to "teach, to sanctify and to govern."
