Cities, Hills and Politics

Thirty years ago, President Ronald Reagan delivered his farewell speech where he described the United States of America as a "Shining City on a Hill."

The image of the "Shining City on a Hill" is a biblical one. Hills and cities have a special place in the Bible and in Christian tradition. In my monthly piece for tomorrow's Il-Lehen (27.I.2019), I explore how this image can inspire the Christian who is active in politics.
