Democracy needs justice

I applaud some of the measures introduced by Prime Minister Robert Abela. A change in tone augurs well. However, if change is to be lasting, we need to embark on soul-searching which runs much deeper than immediate change.

These are some of the themes I tackle in my monthly piece for Il-Lehen (26.I.2020). I also argue that our reflection can be much enriched by the contribution of some Christian thinkers and Catholic Social Teaching.
