The post-pandemic Church

In tomorrow's Il-Lehen (30.VIII.2020), I look at the Church in the post-Covid19 era. The main question whic vexes me is this; why do young people still flock to popular events and actively participate in them (village festas, traditional saint day events etc.), while staying away from the Church? The post-Covid19 climate has exacerbated this situation.
