John Henry Newman and the Oxford Movement

This arrived before Christmas, and I'm very happy with it. I believe it is the first publication in Maltese on John Henry Newman. Alongside Augustine and Ratzinger, Newman is one of those lodestars who deserves to be known to as many people as possible.

In my short study in Knisja2000, I look at the Oxford Movement, its political influences and John Henry Newman's work within this movement. His time in the Oxford Movement is crucial to understanding Newman. As he himself remarked: Catholics did not make us Catholics; Oxford made us Catholics."
