'Super Mario' enters the scene
Mario Draghi is Italy's new Prime Minister; the seventh in the past ten years. In my 'Talking Point' for The Times (18.II.2021), I look at his political trajectory and what his appointment may mean:
"Italy’s new prime minister is a competent, skilled man who has been tested and who delivered. Yet, his greatest challenge lies ahead of him. His stewardship of Italy will bring about some changes on a European level."
